Alec is jazzed to be back at the playhouse! He is a junior at U of U pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and a B.S. in Strategic Communications. Alec is Idaho-raised and loving his time in Utah. When not onstage you can find Alec playing guitar, listening to Lorde, being outside in the sun, with his family, friends, dogs, or obsessing over reality TV.
Amal Ramadan is a rising Junior at the University of Oklahoma Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre. She was most recently Woman with Bags/Roger's Mom in Rent this fall at OU. She is very excited to be apart of Pickleville Playhouse this summer!
Natalie is so excited to be joining the Pickleville cast this summer! She graduated from the U about a year ago and got her BFA in Musical Theatre! She has been working as a barista lately and getting really great at latte art. Natalie also loves to bullet journal/scrapbook and practice hot yoga!!!!
You might be saying to yourself “this guy, again?”, and I don’t blame you. But much like the boys from backstreet, I’m back. If you don’t get that joke, perhaps a knock-knock joke? You fill in the blanks and let comedy magic happen— “Knock-knock.” _____ “Hike.” _____ “Great execution. You fell right into my trap. Comedy genius.”
Now that you’ve been thoroughly warmed up, time for some live theater! Nathan is obviously excited to be back for yet another summer. He’s studying at Utah State and intends to attend law school after he graduates. He is loving life with his wife and little girl and isn’t sure how it could get any better, but is hoping it does! Thanks for coming and enjoy the shenanigans.
Andrea has been involved with Pickleville since its beginning. She recently returned to the stage after a 30 year hiatus, performing alongside her kids and grandson as Grandma, in our last two renditions of The Addams Family. Andrea remembers peeling bark off of the logs that were used to build the theater and later nailing on the tin roof of the cookout while 9 months pregnant with Sharli, her 3rd child. When not working on things at Pickleville, she is busy loving kids and grandkids.
It’s been some of the best times to be a part of the visual department of Pickleville Playhouse for over 22 years. Bodie currently works full time at his own graphic/web/video/etc. design studio (Bodwa Productions) he started 26 years ago. He graduated at Utah State University with a Batchelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Master's Degree in Instructional Design. Every day is an exciting day! Bodie is happily married to his sweet, bubbly wife Kathryn and currently lives in Cedar City, UT. He is the father of 3 fantastic and energetic kids, and has the privilege of being a bonus dad to two more! He enjoys going to Disneyland or Cruise with his family or a solving any fun, creative escape rooms they can find! If someone forces him, he will eat an occasional maple bar or 3. He loves all things Zelda related, esp the epic music soundtracks from the last 7 years.
Is it summer already? Time flies when you're having fun! Since closing The Play That Goes Wrong last fall, Derek has spent most of his free time writing and directing Pickleville's 2025 melodrama hit, Trouble in Hunky Dory. He also enjoys traveling the world with his now family of four (25 countries and counting). Derek and Whitley are also the crazy couple behind "Pickleville Camps" (Pickleville's insanely fun summer camps). Check out PicklevilleCamps.com for more information. Hope you enjoy the show!
Gavin is a a composer, producer, and orchestrator living in Vineyard, UT. He was born and raised in San Diego by a mom who's an award-winning musical director in musical theater and a dad who plays viola in a symphony. Growing up attending countless rehearsals and performances made music inescapable for him, but from a young age he wanted music to be MY thing—he wanted to find my own corner of music that wasn't my mom or dad's. Although he thrived in seven years of classical piano lessons, his personal journey began when he added self-taught guitar to the mix and started forming pop-punk bands as a singer and guitarist. He later joined drumline in high school and became entirely focused on drumming, playing guitar, writing songs, and learning how to record and produce them with my humble recording setup. All the while, he was informally teaching himself how to arrange music by using various softwares to record my songs.
He graduated from Brigham Young University studying Commercial Music where he gradually shifted from a focus on songwriting and production to jazz, film scoring, and orchestration with voice as hi formally trained instrument. Now he's come full circle and is being everything he's ever been as a film composer, record producer, and composer and orchestrator for musical theater. Hip-Hop, Theater, RnB, Jazz, Country, Punk, Folk, Singer/Songwriter—all of it is constantly happening his my world! Lately he's been orchestrating and composing a handful of musicals, producing for artists local and abroad, scoring indie films and ads, and reading every orchestration, counterpoint, and harmony book he can find!
Kenzie is stoked for another amazing season at Pickleville! She has been loving her new role as director, and cannot wait to share the colorful story of Joseph with all of you. Kenzie has spent the last year hanging out with her sweet daughter and husband, being in a couple of shows with Pickleville On Tour, and finding new ways to organize each room in her house. "Thank you so much for making memories with us. Enjoy the show!"
Go, Go, Go JOE! This is Sharli's ump-teenth time choreographing Joseph and she really hopes she gets it right this time. Sharli lives in Cache Valley with her husband, Andy, and their four girls. She enjoys High Fitness, running, and her Peloton bike, as well as reading, laying by the pool, and eating ice cream cones.
We're at it again! So excited to create some awesomeness alongside some of my favorite people in the world. Whitley graduated from BYU with a degree in Music Dance Theatre in 2014. Hobbies include: bugging her husband, kissing her babies, baking treats, wrestling her puppy, traveling, and dancing awkwardly in public. For the last few years, Whitley and her family have been making fools of themselves while documenting it all on Instagram. Follow along on their crazy adventure: @theglobetrotterfamily.
