What To Expect

Camp
9:00-12:30

Throughout the week, we work on musical numbers and scenes that our campers will perform in their awesome end-of-week performance. Along the way, we do lots of fun musical theater exercises and games to introduce new skills and improve their singing, dancing, and acting abilities. Whether beginner or expert, our goal is for each camper to finish the week having learned something new and feeling more confident about themself. Each week ends with a group pizza party and end-of-week performance for family and friends. All campers will receive a Pickleville Workshop T-shirt as well as one complimentary ticket to Pickleville Playhouse’s The Little Mermaid.

Solo
Segment
12:30-1:45 (optional)

The Solo Segment is an additional hour of instruction aimed specifically at preparing for auditions/solos performances. Topics of focus include: choosing a song & section to sing, auditioning techniques, making an impression, and having confidence. By the end of the week, each participant will have a polished solo piece, ready to go for their next audition. Each camper will also have the opportunity to perform their audition piece as a solo in our end-of-week performance.
